LOKSAK

Water, Sweat, Rain, and Snow.

Taking technology with you can be complicated in the world of multisport. When you get in and out of the water frequently chances are you can get your devices wet and ruin them forever. Three years ago a friend of mine showed me the LOKSAK. We were both on a lake at the time and I was worried about my smart phone and didn’t want to take it with me but was nervous to leave it on the shore. He handed me a LOKSAK that fit my smart phone perfectly. Since that time I use the bags for my phone, wallet, headphones, papers, cards, etc. When I travel I use a larger bag to carry multiple items that need to be airtight.

Until I had the LOKSAK I was using a ziplock bag for my phone when I went on bike rides. It worked ok but moisture still seeped in on long sweaty rides. The LOKSAK is different it is completely air tight. When you seal it the air stays in and the seal will not change unless you open it. The uses of this type of reusable bag are endless. I mostly use this at the pool or the lake with my electrical devices. I can answer my phone and have full function on the touch screen while it is sealed. I can also answer the phone while in the bag. I have used it dozens of times in winter conditions, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, etc. Having any concentration of moisture can make a smart phone useless. Anything you want to take with you and keep it dry can be put into so many different size bags. Check out the website for several different selections that will fit iphone, BlackBerry, Droid, Ipad, etc. They have a great selection. The smaller bags are very inexpensive. I still have my first LOKSAK and after hundreds of times using it over 3 years it is still a great little bag. Check out http://www.loksak.com for videos on other uses for the bag.

I really like to ride my bikes, and my snowboards, and run. I love talking about and sharing the excitement of multisport with anyone that will listen. Is there anything better than a good run in the mountains?
