XTERRA XT1.0-RED

Grip/Traction- Traction was good.  The only white trail running sole I have ever seen.  This is a multi surface trail running shoe on and off road.  I would not recommend this shoe for technical trail running the sole is not molded up enough in the front.  I kept stubbing my toe on rocks.

Fit- Very comfortable fit with a very secure lacing system.  The two top eyeholes for the laces anchor securely.  The strap provides a tighter feel around the toebox. The strap is a unique feature that I have not seen on any other shoe. The strap forces a flattening of the bottom of the shoe toward the front of the foot.

Runability- The ideal use of this shoe would be for a beginner path.  Cushioning of the shoe is very smooth and comfortable.  This is a good flat surface trail runner.  I did not like the performance on technical runs.  The shoe material started to breakdown around the toes after about 30 miles.

Appearance- This shoe looks very cool.
