"Over all they help me have better form and rely on my natural skeletal structure."

I have always wanted to be a ninja. Well now with the ZEM NINJA originals I am halfway to 'ninja-hood'.

This falls into that broad category of Minimalist footwear. The ZEM SPLIT TOE NINJA LO is a very comfortable slip on that has a thin durable sole. This is a great safe way for anyone to really get used to how the ground feels with no cushioning. This is good for getting used to running without a bulky heel. If you are wanting to really give your body, knees, and feet a natural run you need to start gradually by running on grass or smooth track. I have been surprised in my own yard to find big thorns sticking in my foot. The NINJA solved the surprise ouch by giving great protection. When I first started jogging in these immediately my gate changed my feet were more under my center of mass and I had a shorter step. Over all they help me have better form and rely on my natural structure.

To put it on is very simple. One of the biggest benefits I have found with using these is easy on and off. No fiddling with individual toes. The unlikely benefit I found for these was recovery. It feels like a sort of compression sock. I have found myself throwing these on to sit around. These are very comfortable. I had them on for a movie the other day laying down with my feet up on the couch.

On the ZEM website they call it Foot Freedom, I call it NINJA shoes and that help my muscle memory to hold proper form and strike in a more efficient position while running. These can be used for so many different activities and because they are so comfortable you won’t want to take them off. They work very well on the beach. The material is comfortable when wet.

I really like to ride my bikes, and my snowboards, and run. I love talking about and sharing the excitement of multisport with anyone that will listen. Is there anything better than a good run in the mountains?
